Mr. Allan Zee- Health Care Reform Speaker Information

Allan Zee, Managing Director  Argeus Benefits Group, LLC in Scottsdale, Arizona will be our Scottsdale Heath and Wellness Guest Speaker on January 9, 2010.

Here’s some information about Mr. Zee and the timely topic he will be presenting;

There is much confusion about the proposed government plan for Health Care Reform. A 1,990 page bill passed the House. The Senate bill, now being debated, is 2,074 pages. The Senate bill, when passed, will be merged with the House bill and then voted on by lawmakers. Both the Senate and House bills have fueled major disagreements over many issues, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Cuts in Medicare reimbursement to providers
  • Total cost of Health Care Reform
  • Increasing the national debt
  • Additional new taxes
  • Government run and managed health care
  • Shortage of doctor’s and other health care providers
  • Federal funds for abortion
  • Inclusion of non-documented immigrants in the health care system

These are just a few of the issues that have stirred the debate in Washington and throughout the country. We’ll all be affected with whatever changes become law. Discussion will include the pros and cons of the legislation, who will be covered, and the proposal to pay for all of the changes. Health care expenditures are 1/6 of our economy so the need to understand what is being proposed is crucial. With the proper information you will be able to make informed choices.

In addition, we’ll talk about why health care is so costly and whether tort reform should be part of any bill that becomes law.

This informational program is presented by Allan Zee, Founder and Managing Director, of Argeus Benefits Group LLC, a Scottsdale based Health Insurance Brokerage firm. Its purpose is to inform and educate the public on Health Care issues. The seminar is simple, understandable, concise, and packed full of straight forward talk and discussion.
